In love with “the idea”

Have you ever met someone , especially after sometime, and then the two of you ‘clicked’? Yeah, you know what I’m talking about!

You like(d) being around them, the way they smile,blush,look at you(well, lets sum it all up as mannerisms)
And then you start picturing all these things,(girls, you know what I’m talking about)
future dates
holidays
birthdays
times (that will be) spent together just doing nothing
(and if you are CRAZY) wedding, family..

(again gals you know what I’m talking. Stop acting like you dont!!!)

You get this silly distant look in your eyes and that goofy smile pasted on your lips. Your heart beats differently every time you think of all these scenarios( note I didn’t say ‘them’)

But deep down inside, the “feeling” is different. There are all these signs. Loud and clear.
You know way down,deep, deep inside, you know its going no where. And yet it feels great to throw caution to the wind(did I just say that???) and dive in head first.

Only for it to end so suddenly. And all that is left is regret(I told you!),anger and heartache.

Its called falling in love with the idea.

But then again, you already knew that…

Comfortless

To meet you at last
Spend long,lazy summer days
and winter evenings

To touch the color of you
and run my fingers through your hair
To look into your eyes

To be held in your arms
And inhale the aura that is you
To be silent with you

To feel your delightful lips
And your fingers, slowly down my back
Your breath on the back of my neck

To be safe in your embrace
Driven crazy by your caress
Be melted by your look

I cant wait to be yours
Finally.
